Directions
From Los Angeles
- Go North on Interstate 5. Take Highway 101 North for approximately five to six hours.
- When you reach Salinas, there will be an off ramp for the Monterey Peninsula. Take note, the off ramp is easy to miss. You will now be on Highway 68 West.
- Take Highway 1 South, the Pacific Coast Highway.
- Continue on Highway 1 South until you come to Ocean Avenue, turn right.
- Turn right at Junipero Street. Carmel inn & Suites is at the intersection of Junipero St. and 5th Ave.
From San Francisco Bay Area
- Take Highway 101 South for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Then take Highway 156 Southwest.
- Merge onto Highway 1 South. Continue on Highway 1 South until you come to Ocean Avenue, turn right.
- Turn right at Junipero Street. Carmel Inn & Suites is at the intersection of Junipero St. and 5th Ave.
