Accessible features of the inn

Accessible guest rooms

Our Accessible King rooms have mobility features:

• Entrance and bathroom doorways 32 inches wide
• Tub with grab bars and portable seating
• Handrails in the bathroom
• Raised toilet seat
• Lowered deadbolt and lock
• Closed-caption TV programming

The inn has two floors and no elevator; second-floor rooms are reached by stairs. Rooms are not air conditioned, and each has a ceiling fan and a wall heater.

Reserving an accessible room

• You can reserve an accessible room during the same hours and in the same way as any other room: book online or call us.
• We describe the accessible features of the inn and of our accessible rooms on this page so that you can judge whether they meet your needs.
• We hold accessible rooms for guests with disabilities until all other rooms of that type have been rented.
• When you reserve an accessible room, we block that room and remove it from all of our reservation systems.
• We guarantee that the specific accessible room you reserve is held for you, whatever else is booked.

If the online booking system is difficult to use with your assistive technology, call us and we will make the reservation for you at the same rates.

This website

We built this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content.
• Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and no information is given by color alone.
• Photos have text descriptions, form fields have labels, and headings and landmarks are marked up for screen readers.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% and pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling.
• Nothing flashes, moves on its own or times out.

We check the site with automated tools and by hand when it changes. Online reservations are completed on our reservation provider's website, which we do not control.
